Sims 3 Has No Effect on Charts

If it didn’t take the top spot this week, there would be something seriously amiss since reports have said that Mass Effect 3 sold around 330,000 in its first 24 hours of being on sale and apparently 3.5 million worldwide, which probably means it’s the number one selling game in the world at the moment.

SSX gets knocked off the top and plummets down to second place and The Sims 3: Showtime could only manage a half-decent performance, meaning that even FIFA 12 still sold more, but it doesn’t really matter since they’re all EA titles anyway. Street Fighter X Tekken makes an impressive leap into third spot and just holding on in there at the bottom is Zumba Fitness which refuses to lose the fight just yet.
