EA Sports has revealed that Facebook fans who play EA Sports FIFA Superstars on Facebook and complete the achievements on there will receive exclusive rewards in the FIFA 11 demo which is due to be released soon.
For those that already play FIFA Superstars will immediately unlock Arsenal in the demo, whilst obtaining a gold pack of players will unlock Emirates Stadium. There will also be various rewards available in FIFA Superstars for playing the FIFA 11 demo.
The FIFA 11 demo will feature Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayer Leverkusen and Olympique Lyonnais in Real Madrid’s home stadium, Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.
EA also released a brief Q&A which should answer most queries about the demo.
Q: What happens if I have both a PS3 & an Xbox 360? Can I double up on unlocks/rewards?
A: No. The unlocks will be tied to your EA Account. You may unlock rewards on both platforms, but you will only unlock them once. Example: if I unlock the reward for playing 10 games, the reward will appear as unlocked on any platform my EA Account is tied to.
Q: Will this be in the full game of FIFA 11?
A: No. This feature is ONLY for the demo.
Q: Is this in the PC Version?
A: No. This is only for PS3 and Xbox 360.
Q: Do I need to play FIFA Superstars to unlock Arsenal and Emirates Stadium?
A: No. You can unlock these just by playing the demo itself.
Q: How can I tell what I’ve unlocked?
A: Unlocks will be displayed on the Jumbotron beside the Main Menu.
Q: I just signed up to EA Sports FIFA superstars after playing the demo. Where do I sign into my EA Account?
A: An EA Account box will appear once you have completed the EA Sports FIFA Superstars tutorial.
Q: How can I upload a screenshot?
A: The FIFA 11 Demo does not support screenshot upload.
Q: Where do I view my video upload?
A: Go to www.easportsfootball.com.
Q: I have completed an unlock requirement in the demo and it doesn’t show as unlocked on the Jumbotron.
A: 1) Ensure that you are always connected to EA servers while playing the demo.
2) The Jumbotron will only refresh at certain points in the demo.
Q: I have played the FIFA 11 demo in a language other than English but every time I go into EA Sports FIFA superstars, I need to play in English.
A: EA Sports FIFA superstars only supports English at this time. Other languages coming soon
Q: I can’t receive my rewards in EA Sports FIFA Superstars (after the EA Sports FIFA Superstars promotion has ended).
A: EA Sports FIFA Superstars rewards are only available for a Limited time (until 13 November 2010). This date may be subject to change without notification.
The demo is due to be released this Wednesday, September 15th for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
i have played the game and entered my code but i have not recieved any gifts to facebook?
You play the Facebook game to unlock stuff in the demo, I don’t think you can play the game to unlock Facebook stuff. It’s also just for the demo from what I can tell, not the full FIFA 11 game. 🙂
