Oddworld Gets the HD Look

Gamers from the days of the original Xbox will remember a game called Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee, a launch title which gained quite a following, those gamers who now own a PlayStation 3 can rejoice in knowing that it’s being released in High Definition.

Oddworld: Munch's OddyseePS Vita owners haven’t been left out either with the upcoming release of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath and you won’t need to wait for very much longer, in fact, both titles are being released next week on December 19th.

“Continuing our campaign to update the classic Oddworld titles, we are excited to give new and old fans on Playstation the chance to play Munch and Stranger”. Said Stewart Gilray, CEO of Just Add Water (Developments) Ltd (JAW).

Not quite the “several” games released as the press release would have you believe, as you can see it’s only two, but since they’re both so epic, they should keep you busy over the Christmas period.
Whoever wrote the press release needs to decide when the games are released, first they say Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD for Vita is out in Europe on Wednesday 19 December, priced at $14.99/€11.99/£9.99. Then Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD for PlayStation 3 is available 19 December in Europe with a North American release not yet confirmed, costing $9.99/€8.99/£7.99.
At the end of the info, they say Stranger’s Wrath is out now. I think you had better stick with next week, that seems more likely.
