Become a Legendary Kung Fu Master

Ever wanted to be better than Bruce Lee? Well unless you’ve been training with the highest Masters since aged 3, then the next best thing is to try Kungfu Legend of which some kind of fact sheet was put together, so here it is…

Galasia Get's First English Server

Legend of Galasia is one of those cute 2D MMORPG games set in the usual fantasy world and is apparently similar to Ragnarok Online, but I’m guessing.. cuter. It’s also known as Adventure Generation Online in Taiwan and Le Ciel Bleu in Japan, although, why it would be known as something French in Japan is anyone’s guess.

Not An Orange Odyssey Then?

Image via CrunchBase Aeria Games has announced a new addition to its free-to-play list of online games, Lime Odyssey that is the first game to be created by Sirius Entertainment and is scheduled to have a closed beta around the middlw of 2011. “Aeria Games is excited to be working with Sirius Entertainment on the launch of Lime Odyssey,” said Lan Hoang, CEO of Aeria Games. “The Sirius team has, for the last few years, poured their hearts and souls into the development of Lime Odyssey and the final result is a beautiful, well-balanced MMORPG, with a unique combination of rich role-playing features and robust gameplay. Runes of Magic Trims Down

Full clients of MMORPG‘s can be rather large, 10 GB wouldn’t be an surprising sized download before you even get to play the game, that’s why Frogster have released a ‘slim’ version of the Runes of Magic client, bringing it down to 3.5 GB. That means you only have to download about half of what you would’ve needed to before, how is it possible? Compression of pretty much everything that can be squished as small as possible like some of the detail in the graphical textures and sound files, but everything which is in the full client will still be there. Another bonus to the slim client is the use of lower resources which should help improve the performance of your system, nice if you don’t quite have a beefy spec computer.

Seal Online, No Heidi Klum

You’re probably wondering what a legendary British singer has to do with videogames, apart from possibly having his music featured in a game. Well, in this case, nothing. It was just a ruse to use his name due to an MMORPG, which is launching on October 5th, being called Seal Online. “Seal Online: Eternal Destiny takes the anime scene into another level,” says Jeff Ee, Team Associate Manager for YNK Interactive.  “It has all the things that players love about Seal with a new exciting twist.”

King of Kings 3 Completes Beta

The beta for King of Kings 3 has been completed and now gamingo has opened up the MMORPG to anyone and everyone in the US and Europe, there appears to be mention of a website of which doesn’t appear to be in the info, so will link that later on. Previously, the accessible area was relatively small, now that it’s more widely available, players now have access to 15 new regions, characters can be leveled up to level 90 and PvP combat has apparently become even more dynamic. Around three months of beta testing was done with all suggestions for improvement were collected and then implemented such as the fighting style and balancing were adapted and localization was also continually improved upon.

Go Role Playing On Your iPhone With Yslandia

An MMORPG for the iPhone you say?! I didn’t, but yes. Bulkypix and Moving Player have released Yslandia which is apparently an MMORPG that you can play on the iPhone and go on over 200 quests across three islands, but one slight problem. Us Brits will have to wait until early September to be included in the ‘worldwide’ release as for now, it’s only available in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Canada. As you may have noticed, most of those countries have French speaking people in them, that would be due to the developer being based in France, but anyway, on with the info.

Runes of Magic Has Fashion Show

A unique fashion show which Frogster is staging as part of the general GamesCom program of events on the main stage in Hall 8 will bridge the gap between the virtual world of Runes of Magic and reality. As part of a catwalk presentation featuring runway models the publisher will exhibit a one-off fashion collection for the first time worldwide on Friday 20th August from 16:00 until 17:30 and Saturday, 21st August from 15:00 until 16:00. Based on the motto ‘Gaming goes fashion’, the Berlin-based design studio, “Textilzelle”, will present interpretations of seven different character classes from the virtual world of Runes of Magic that they have transformed into an extraordinary fashion collection.
