A new video for PlanetSide 2 from Sony asks one simple question, it’s more like a brag about what the game can do compared to other first person shooters and I suppose more specifically, free-to-play massively multiplayer FPS games.

October Sees DC Universe Go Free-To-Play

More games are becoming free-to-play in a bid to garner more custom by letting gamers taste the goodness and hopefully suck them in and spend money by either buying some kind of package or just in-game stuff. DC Universe is the latest high profile MMO to announce going free-to-play, so if you ever wanted to try it out, you can do a bit more than that by playing it until you either get bored or want to pay for more.

Plants vs. Zombies Fight on PSN

If you’re looking for something new to buy from the PlayStation Network, SOE has announced the release of Plants vs. Zombies, along with some other quite interstingly titled games. “SOE has delivered more than 6.5 million downloads worldwide on the PlayStation Network, including a mix of classic and original intellectual properties, top-tier casual games, and PlayStation Network exclusives,” said Chris Sturr, executive director of business development and corporate strategy at Sony Online Entertainment. “We continually seek creative opportunities to generate new and entertaining ways to enhance a player’s gaming experience and our latest line-up proves this with all-new games that are fun and engaging.”
