Before I paste the info about this, I’d just like to say it’s rather hypocritical that EA closed The Sims Online/EA Land and tell us nobody wanted it, then not long after, tell us that Sims gamers are social and want a community, pissed a lot of people off.. anyway.
Play with friends, play with life, play with The Sims on Facebook! The EA Play Label of Electronic Arts announced The Sims Social, a groundbreaking new game that brings one of the world’s most popular gaming franchises to Facebook, the world’s largest social network.
Not sure if I’ve used that headline before, I tend to see news and think, “Ooh, I have the perfect headline for tha.. oh yeah, already used it!”, but I digress, there isn’t any particular news to report here except to say that a bunch of new screenshots for The Sims 3 on 3DS have been released and since I’m a big Sims geek, they’ve been uploaded for you to also drool over.
EA went and released a new gameplay trailer for The Sims Medieval, the upcoming standalone game in the Sims franchise, yup, not another expansion for an existing Sims game, more kind of like Castaway Stories.
For the first time, players can create heroes, venture on quests, build and control a kingdom, and play every Hero Sim character in the land. Creativity will soar as players tell stories like never before full of drama, romance, conflict, and comedy.
