News of Warner Bros. and TT Games announcing the impending release of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes has the internet buzzing, LEGO games are very popular, but this announcement has everyone in high anticipation.
“We’re very excited to bring a myriad of classic Marvel characters to life in LEGO form for some fun, family friendly gameplay in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games Publishing. “Players will brave the ultimate mission to save the world as they explore famous landmarks in LEGO New York and take the adventure beyond Earth to iconic locations in the Marvel Universe.”
Which one will you choose?
It’s a clever ruse by announcing it now, it gives gamers plenty of time to see more of the game as it progresses through the year and then finally launches in autumn of this year. You won’t need to worry about which system to buy it for since the usual trend for LEGO games is to launch on every format anyway, be it the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, PC, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS or PlayStation Vita.
“Fans of both LEGO and Marvel have wanted this game for years, and we’re addressing that demand with more Marvel Universe characters than ever in a console game,” said TQ Jefferson, Vice President, Games Production, Marvel Entertainment. “If you’re a fan of Spider-Man, the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy or scores of other Marvel characters, this is the game for you.”
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is just the first instalment which will contain over a hundred Marvel characters such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, Captain America, the Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Deadpool, Loki and Galactus. As you can imagine characters like Loki and Galacticus would serve as enemies for the Avengers and Fantastic Four, which is why you can expect to see Nick Fury gather a team up to defeat them.
More information will be posted when available, just keep Autumn 2013 clear in your gaming schedule!
