2016 is almost here, so what has PlayStation announced in the PS Plus January 2016 line-up? An email was sent out, but it was hard to decipher exactly which games were available and where to click.
Bit of a tip, PlayStation; make your emails a little more user-friendly, I had no idea what was going on.
PS Plus January 2016
- Hardware: Rivals (PS4)
- Grim Fandango Remastered (PS4)
- Dragon Age: Origins (PS3)
- Medal of Honor: Warfighter (PS3)
- Nihilumbra (PS Vita)
- Legends of War: Patton (PS Vita)
Hardware Rivals is something PlayStation buzzed about some time ago, it was apparently dubbed as being free-to-play, so it makes sense it’s included in the PS Plus collection.
Everyone knows Grim Fandango and its Remastered version launched on the PlayStation 4 almost a year ago already, it’s a bit weird, but hey it’s free.
Dragon Age: Origins is a bit of a classic, if you’re the adventurous type, you’ll love it.

It’s become a forgotten franchise thanks to Call of Duty and Battlefield, but the Medal of Honor games weren’t too bad and Warfighter was pretty cool.
I reviewed Nihilumbra on the PC and while it isn’t a bad game, it can get frustrating, so much so that I just quit playing. Not rage-quit, more like a ‘fed-up quit’.
I don’t know what Legends of War: Patton is, it’s not my type of game, so just watch the video…
There you go, PS Plus for January 2016. What do you think of those titles, plenty to keep you busy all month or not interested? I think Hardware Rivals will become a surprise hit, maybe not as prominent as Rocket League which took the world by storm in 2015, but it will have some popularity.
