The Garfield Movie has already had a few criticisms, mostly about Chris Pratt as the voice of Garfield. Personally, I still prefer the voice from the TV series, but Bill Murray will always be the best movie voice.
Garfield (voiced by Chris Pratt), the world-famous, Monday-hating, lasagna-loving indoor cat, is about to have a wild outdoor adventure! After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father – scruffy street cat Vic (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson) – Garfield and his canine friend Odie are forced from their perfectly pampered life into joining Vic in a hilarious, high-stakes heist.
This isn’t a live-action style movie like before, it’s fully animated, but fully packed with stars you wouldn’t have thought would feature in The Garfield Movie.
Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Ving Rhames (Mission Impossible – Fallout), Nicholas Hoult (X-Men), Cecily Strong (Leo), Harvey Guillén (Blue Beetle), Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso) and Bowen Yang (The Monkey King).
