Batman Leaves Asylum, Moves To City

Warner Bros. announced the next game in the new Batman Arkham series and it looks like he’s moving away from the Asylum and taking his form of justice into Arkham City.
Gamers of the Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 will be able to take the caped crusader into the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds as developed by Rocksteady Studios and set for release in about a year’s time in August 2011.

A bit more info:
Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, this highly anticipated sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.
As you may already know, Arkham is an entirely new license that was specifically written purely for DC Comics and made directly into a videogame, so if you want to keep up to date with all that’s going on, visit www.batmanarkhamcity.com.
