Double11 Bringing LittleBigPlanet to Vita

Microsoft have Halo, Nintendo have Mario and now it seems Sony has LittleBigPlanet (and to a lesser extent, Everybody’s/Hotshot Golf) as they’re bringing the adventurous little sackboy to the PlayStation Vita, courtesy of Double11.

“It’s a fantastic achievement and a privilege for the studio to be working on a project such as LittleBigPlanet, particularly for such an exciting new platform.  We’ve spent the best part of a year recruiting a crack squad of games development professionals and we’re delighted that we can finally announce it.  It was really great to see such an enthusiastic response at the recent E3 and we are confident we’ll be able to do more so in the future.”

Lee Hutchinson, CEO, Double11.

Double11 consists of a couple of ex-Rockstar engineers Lee Hutchinson and Matt Shepcar and their team who have had to keep schtum about developing LittleBigPlanet for the PS Vita, but now they’re just glad to be able to release information about the project they’ve worked closely with Sweden’s Tarsier Studios for so long.
Prepare for further info to be released in the near future.
