As if you hadn’t already heard, but Fable Legends will arrive on the Xbox One, although it hasn’t been scheduled as a launch title, all that has been released so far is a kind of fact sheet with some details.

Microsoft Studios, Lionhead Studios and Epic Games, Inc. announce that Lionhead is developing “Fable: The Journey” using Epic’s award-winning Unreal Engine 3. Revealed during the Xbox 360 E3 2011 Media Briefing, “Fable: The Journey” is poised to take the cherished action-adventure series to Kinect for Xbox 360.
If you haven’t got it already, then you are missing out on Lionhead‘s latest and greatest outing in the Fable universe, not only that, but the first downloadable content has been released to further extend the gameplay. This October, Fable fans will get the chance to control their own destiny in Fable III with the stunning new Fable III Limited Edition Wireless Controller for Xbox 360. The golden cloaked controller features one-of-a-kind artwork created by Lionhead Studios and is steeped in Fable lore befitting any king or queen in the making. The Fable III Limited Edition Wireless Controller begins shipping to retailers on Oct. 5 and will be available for £39.99 just in time for the Oct. 29 launch of Fable III, while supplies last. Outfitted in collectible packaging, the controller comes with an Xbox LIVE token for an exclusive in-game downloadable tattoo set to further customise your hero’s appearance.

For those of you that haven’t seen or heard about it yet, where have you been for the last two days? Microsoft and Lionhead have released the opening cinematic to Fable III for avid gamers to watch and has already got thousands drooling over it. October 29th can’t come soon enough for a lot of people, me (aceman) included as I’d played Fable II for hours and hours, including the DLC of which I still haven’t finished getting all the achievements for yet (mainly DLC ach’s), the opening though, see’s a new breed of hero is upon us…
Microsoft and Lionhead have released an image of the Limited Edition packshot of Fable III and so would like to present it here in all it’s glory as big as possible without breaking the frame of the site. Quite looking forward to it, but still got a little while to wait, the good thing is that there are quite a few announcements happening which means the final touches are being made and the release will be that much more glorious!
