Xbox Live Has a Deadly Premonition

Rising Star Games are bringing their 2010 hit, Deadly Premonition to Xbox Live Games on Demand from Tuesday, July 5th. “Deadly Premonition is a quirky and unique title we are proud to have published,” says Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games. “We knew there was an audience for the title and we delivered them the game they wanted. Xbox Updates!

Apparently, there's a small update for Xbox's today that Major Nelson gave the following info about: Xbox LIVE Dashboard update: On Wednesday, January 19th we will issue a mandatory dashboard update that (re) enables the ‘Boot to Disc’ option in the Xbox 360 dashboard. After you accept the update, you’ll be able to set the option to boot to the Xbox 360 dashboard OR directly to the game you have in the tray when you power up your console. Lucasarts Give Away Lightsabers

Lucasarts posted around 6 links on Twitter that all led to a .txt page of codes which, when redeemed on Xbox Live, gave the gamer Starkiller's Dual Lightsabers for their avatar. Although there must have been about 100 codes per link/page, they went like poop off a shovel, ol' MGaceman here was lucky enough to enter a valid code and obtain the goodies! (more…)
