I like getting stuff that I want (see ‘So What Did You Get Then?‘ post for alternative view), so if you’re the same way, you’ll know how I felt when the Nightmare On Elm Street boxset was finally delivered this morning. Another thing that makes it even sweeter is that it only cost £8.99 from HMV, it’s now gone up to £17.99.Another thing that arrived today is the free wireless router from Blueyonder and it seems that you can use wired connections with it as well as it being wireless. That’s better for me since I didn’t fancy buying wifi network cards or USB adapters and mainly wanted it for my DS and PSP and I can (or should be able to) connect my Xbox 360 to it. I won’t know until I try, but the thing is, there are 4 LAN ports on the back, this leads me to believe that up to 4 things can be connected with cables and so the cabled connection I wanted to have with the PC and Xbox 360 seems to be possible.
Stuff that should arrive tomorrow: the first four Discworld books, GTA:Vice City Stories and GTA:Liberty City Stories for the PS2, but since I’m trying to catch up on reviews I still haven’t done, they’re gonna have to wait a while. I’ve just finished Spongebob Squarepants: Creature from the Krusty Krab which took a few days of at least 5 hour sessions due to the seemingly never ending, yet repetitive gameplay. I think the Sopranos game is next or maybe Teen Titans, can’t remember, but after playing the SpongeBob game, I think some more adult gaming is needed, so Sopranos is next…
