You should all know about Angry Birds by now, if not, well it’s time to crawl out from under that rock and rub the crap from out of your eyes, it’s like, only the biggest thing in the last 12 months or so. Now it’s spreading its wings even further by arriving on the PSN as a Mini and even available through Media Go, yup, it’s the PSP version… is there a DS version in the works and coming some time soon?
No, not quite the big silver screen of the cinema, but the bigger screen of a netbook, laptop or desktop computer thanks to Intel AppUp. Netbooks aren’t really made for any kind of major gaming and so with the help of Intel AppUp, it opens up a whole new world of gaming that you would have previously only been able to enjoy with a mobile device such as an iPhone/Touch/iPad, Android phone or even Symbian.
If you haven’t played Angry Birds yet, well, get a device that does because it’s a darn fine game. You’re probably better off going Android since the normal version is free, as well as the Seasons version, they’re ad-supported of course, but it’s so worth it. There is what Mobile Streams would like to be known as the first fully independent app store, Appitalism.com which isn’t tied to any specific platform and covers 51 countries worldwide and so would be able to carry Rovio Mobile’s best selling game to anyone and everyone with a device and/or phone capable of running Angry Birds.
