Rather than make a post that would most likely be 80% snippets, here’s the whole press release.
When we first saw news on the iPad, we knew there would be a lot of ponds and fish tanks coming out for the iPad. Com2uS thought the iPad deserved something bigger, like the Ocean. So we started creating an Ocean just for the iPad
‘Ocean Blue’ gives you the experience of a real dive into the ocean. To give users a great experience of the ocean, the whole development and graphic design team jumped into the ocean to learn scuba diving in Philipines. Investigations to the very detail on different fishes that live in the deep and shallow parts of the sea have been made to deliver the ocean as it is to the iPad in true 3D graphics and movements.
A recent update has added popular fishes like Clownfish(yes, you know it by the name Nemo), Blue tang(The blue fish that rescued Nemo with his dad) and Naso Tang to the ocean experience. All in 3D graphics and movements.
With the new update you can gather schools of Nemos and Blue tangs by tap and holding on the screen or scatter them away with double tap. Click on the different fishes to get a closer look and take photos to keep diving log books that provide detailed information of the fish.
Ocean Blue is great for education as each movement of all the fins are as a real fish would move. Take Ocean Blue to the Aquarium and use Ocean blue to give a closer look of the favorite fishes to your children.
Ocean Blue can also be used as a screen saver when your iPad is not in use. Imagine having a window on your desk with a view to the Red Sea or a Blue hole with gigantic hammer head sharks, turtles and many other fishes swimming around as if you were sitting inside a submarine.
Now with 8 types of fishes, a sea turtle and a hammer head shark, Com2uS hopes that Ocean Blue will turn into even bigger Ocean with more tropical fishes.
Why play in a pond or a fish tank when you can have the whole ocean inside your iPad in 3D graphics and motions on your iPad.
